Cass Town Group originated as an innovator in Mongolia, debuting the renowned Korean beer "Cass," a move that shaped our identity and marked our entry into the premium beverage and hospitality sector. This venture set the stage for our ongoing commitment to quality and excellence in the industry.

Our History

Cass Town Group LLC, founded in 1999, represents a landmark joint venture, symbolizing a robust collaboration between Mongolia and South Korea with an equal investment of 50 percent each. As a visionary enterprise, we introduced the first imported draft beer restaurant in the vibrant heart of Ulaanbaatar, revolutionizing the local culinary scene. This pioneering establishment not only showcased the exquisite Cass draft beer but also offered a curated selection of pizzas and a suite of innovative culinary delights, setting a new standard in gastronomy.

From 1999 through 2003, Cass Town Group LLC emerged as a market leader, dominating the Mongolian beer sector as the sole official distributor of Cass beer. This renowned beverage, crafted by Oriental Brewery in South Korea and owned by Belgium’s AB Inbev group, commanded 70% of the beer market in Mongolia, a testament to the company's exceptional distribution and marketing prowess.

The firm's financial acumen and commitment to economic development have been consistently acknowledged. Annually from 2002 to 2017, we earned a spot among the Top-100 Highest Tax Paying Companies, a prestigious accolade conferred by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This recognition underscores our steadfast dedication to fiscal responsibility and economic contribution.

In a strategic move in 2001, Mr. D. Enkhbat, our esteemed founder, acquired the remaining 50% stake from the Republic of Korea, ensuring complete ownership and autonomous control of Cass Town Group LLC, thereby solidifying our status as a wholly-owned national enterprise under his visionary leadership.

Cass Town Group LLC has been at the forefront of diversifying Mongolia's beverage palette by importing and introducing an array of distinguished global beer brands to Mongolia. This impressive portfolio includes BECK'S from Germany (2006), BUD (Budweiser) from the United States (2009), Hoegaarden from Belgium (2012), and Corona from Mexico (2017). The introduction of Belgian craft beers in 2017, marked by the inauguration of our renowned "Brussels Belgian Beer Cafe," further cemented our reputation as a purveyor of fine global beverages. Our company takes pride in being the first to introduce esteemed brands like CHIMAY, LINDEMANS, GOLDEN DRAAC, WESTMALLE, and CUVEE TAOLL to Mongolian connoisseurs, consistently garnering high consumer accolades.

In 2023, the company embarked on a new venture, enriching its offerings with high-quality South Korean agricultural products and Soju, Korea's traditional rice liquor. Looking to the future, Cass Town is set to inaugurate a state-of-the-art 15-story office building in 2024, poised to transform the skyline of Ulaanbaatar and offer premier office services.

Cass Town Company's dedication to social responsibility is exemplified by our "Dream Forest" project, a significant environmental initiative spanning 109 hectares in Tansumum, Central Province, from 2009 to 2019. The company's patronage extends beyond environmental stewardship to encompass arts, culture, and sports, supporting renowned groups such as Hurd, Camerton, Nomin tlastt, Sarantuya, and Sweetymotion, thereby enriching the cultural fabric of Mongolia.

Mr. D. Enkhbat, the Founder and President, has been instrumental in fostering the growth of Taekwondo in Mongolia. His efforts have enabled countless children and youth to engage with the sport across the nation. His leadership roles as the honorary president of the Mongolian Taekwondo Association (2006-2021) and the current president of the Ulaanbaatar Taekwondo Association underscore his commitment to promoting physical fitness and discipline through this martial art.

Cass Town Group LLC stands as a beacon of innovation, corporate responsibility, and cultural enrichment, continually striving to elevate Mongolia's presence on the global stage.
